A Little About Us
Started: February 4th, 2008 as WRRN (Reorchestrators Radio Network). 6/21/08 as WZMR.
Original Owner: Enzuru (2005)
Current Owner and Webmaster: ebuch
History
World Zelda Music Radio was first started in 2005 as part of the ZREO project. It was shut down back then due to financial instability. The resurrection of the station had been waiting a long time, so I started making preparations to rebuild it. On June 21st, 2008, I finally re-opened the radio station with a live broadcast, and a Q&A segment. The goal of this site is to unite the community through a mass-media type of communication involving any Zelda site that wishes to take part via shows, commercials, or news.
General Information
WZMR is made with: Notepad2 for writing HTML and PHP (and other code), Adobe PhotoShop 8 + ImageReady 8 for graphics and animation, FileZilla for a FTP client.
Technology Used
WZMR is broadcast with the following tools: SHOUTcast for streaming software. Winamp, and SAM Broadcaster for encoding, mixing, and source clients. Audacity is used for recording, rendering, and editting audio clips such as commercials, pre-recorded shows, and advertisements.
