Hey guys! It's been a while since I've written, and a lot of things have happened over that time.

First off, you may have noticed that we have a significant amount of songs added to our library. Most of these songs were made by individual artists including STRIKE911, Shadow, Mycro_chip, AKALink and others. Some of these artists where actually only found by deeply scavaging the net, and others by being sent in to us. So check 'em out!

Secondly, I'm changing my world-renowned nickname from ScienceOfThePS3 to Alpha_Link. Yes, I know that it's such a shock that I'd be changing my nickname all of a sudden. However, I have my good reasons why:

1) My old nick didn't really fit too well or even made sense. Sure, I have a PS3, but I'm not the "Science" of it. I don't even think that there is a PS3 science or whatever.
2) It's a pain in the (neck) to have to write it out. I always have to remember to write "capital...small..capital...small..." which is already bad enough as it is, but of course you get used to it. Plus, the length of it is a little to long for me to consider a good nickname.
3) I just got tired of it.

So, from this day forward, I shall now be known as Alpha_Link, but you can still refer to me from my old nick if you like. My WZMR email will now be alpha_link@wzmrradio.com also. Some sites, like YouTube, where I can't change my nickname, I'll still be under ScienceOfThePS3.

Third, well...there really isn't a third thing. I just wanted to have three things to say. tongue

ebuch: I'm just going to call you AL.. is that okay Al?

And yes, you can call me AL or Alpha or Link or just Alpha_Link.

World Zelda Music Radio has been serving Zelda music fanatics of all walks of genres for exactly one year today. In my eyes, I see it as a true accomplishment, being able to set up a website and let it run itself in a unique and dedicated manner. Let the celebration commence!

Back when this all started for me, I thought a year seemed like such a long time to survive and it is. But the past year for me has gone by incredibly fast, and I can't imagine what it would have been like without keeping an eye on the radio every day, and keeping the main site up to date with new features and articles. To be honest, I almost forgot about it despite it being marked on my calendar for quite some time now. "The flow of time is always cruel" - Sheik

I would really like to give out my thanks to everyone who has helped make this possible. I really have no idea where to start, so I'll start with my staff members. First off is ScienceOfThePS3... Great guy, you have done so much to help this site become what it is now, you really deserve a big thank you. Another thanks goes to Stephen for providing a server leaf, as well as Dustin of NFNet (our IRC provider). Mkava deserves thanks for helping coding site features that I'm too lazy (or untalented enough) to do myself. I'd like to give a shout-out to the amazing guys powering ZeldaInformer.com for their support with their previous radio segment Zelda Remix Hour, for their general support of our site, and for their kickass Zelda articles.

I could go on all night naming all of the other awesome people... But lastly, I would like to thank all of the site visitors and fans who continue to show their support by tuning into the station and for visiting the site as well. Without a listener base, we would just be sitting here twiddling our thumbs. We hope that you guys truly enjoy what we are doing for you, and we very much encourage any feedback, even the negative type because that's how we know where to improve.

WZMR has been growing since Day 1, and it has been a real pleasure to enjoy seeing that happen as it continues to live on. In the last year we have gained a lot of experience in online streaming and website integration. We plan to continue growing in this direction over the course of the next year by refining our request system, streamlining our flash players, and integrating new ways to allow more ways for you to tune in, and much more!

Thank you all for your support!

It's that time of the year again... Time to strap on your thinking caps and bust out the brains cause it's time for Exploding Deku Nut's 4th ever Hyrule Trivia!
If you think you've got what it takes to compete with the elite for the prestigious honor of being the most knowledgeable, then step right up, EDN's Hyrule Trivia is for you! This contest is all about having fun though, and the winners get some really cool prizes too! If you're interested in signing up and taking part in this year's challenge, I advise you study previous years' questions and review the rules and procedures.

Zelda fans, get ready for an article that has to be one of the most inspiring ever written by one fan alone. Writer Hylian Dan from Zelda Universe covers many aspects of the Zelda games that link their stories and their messages together, focusing on the ones that are between Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and The Wind Waker. The huge article pays close attention to themes of maturity and morality, and takes a fine look at how the two intervene together as a child grows up.

Spirit's House in Link's Awakening

To me, this article seemed to make a whole lot of sense. Time seems like a nasty thing to try to mess with, and it's best to learn to move on with the flow of things. I highly recommend that you all give this a full read, if not now then bookmark it for later but this is a one of a kind. If it doesn't change your perspective on the Zelda games, it will change your perspective on life.
